Like A Miracle

One of our "outside" cats had a bad bite wound. Like most animals, he cleaned the entire area around the wound in an effort to heal it himself. I believe some of the tissue under the wound was dead and when he was pulling his fur off around the wound, he pulled off a 2" area of skin exposing his upper leg muscle. Because of the location, bandaging was out. We sprayed New Skin on the area, and although he was noisy about it, he didn't fight. I was hoping to keep him from losing the leg, but amazingly enough in a little over a week he started to improve. We applied New Skin 3 times and now, 3 weeks later, the area is starting to get fur.
