Can't live without it!

by   epcollet ,  Jul 16, 2006
Pros: VERY versatile, Easy to clean FABULOUS for the nursing mom.
Cons: Might re-size for bigger baby, Not fitted for husband
The Bottom Line: I could not live without the New Native Carrier. Great for babies AND for older children (though you might need to re-size). Also, excellent for the nursing mom.
Review: I bought the New Native carrier when I was pregnant with my second daughter. I had used a homemade sling with my older daughter and really liked it, but it was a bit big, so I was looking forward to buying one sized for me! I bought the New Native ...

Very Useful

by   prdmommyof3 ,  Jan 5, 2007
Pros: love the texture, and the ease of use for newborns
Cons: not very practical for over 3 month and definitely not practical for toddlers
Review: As I have said in other reviews my daughter was a very fussy baby and anything that I could get my hands on to get a free hand I would use. I got this for a baby shower gift and loved it and used it from birth to about 3 months, I didn't find it as ...

I *think* he can breathe...but I can't see him!

by   heatherkbrowne ,  Jul 27, 2006
Pros: breathable material; no parts to lose; decent weight distribution for comfortable carrying
Cons: not adjustable; impossible to nurse w/out contorting oneself; hard to see baby
The Bottom Line: If you really want the flexibility of a sling, I would try an adjustable ring sling before trying this one. But I personally recommend the stability of a front carrier.
Review: When my son was first born I borrowed a friend's New Native sling to use until I got back to the United States where I could buy my own. By the time I got back to the United States I KNEW I did NOT want a sling - at least not this one. One caveat: as ...

New Native Baby Carrier (Sling) -- Lets play "whoops, dropped the baby"!

by   gatorgirlie ,  Apr 22, 2006
Pros: Low prices, quality, many colors to choose from (I'm reaching)
Cons: The following field contains too many words.
The Bottom Line: The bottom line states: But another carrier because New Native's Baby Carrier just doesn't live up to its hype.
Review: I have a new favorite category -- kids and family... can't you tell? One of the major categories I researched during pre-baby free time was infant carriers. They are perhaps the most useful baby item you can buy -- IF you buy the right one. The ...
