Netgear is the best router company, hands down

The Bottom Line: It is a great router if obtained at the right price. Excellent coverage, excellent speeds. Great appearance. Initial setup wizard a pain if you dont follow the manuals closely.
Review: I have used a Linksys WRT54GC (which USPS lost in transit to Linksys for an RMA...thanks USPS) and a Hawking HWR54G in the same exact setup as I have the Netgear WGT624NA currently in. Of them all, the Netgear has been the best so far.

A Mixed Bag

The Bottom Line: All the makings of a good router but poor firmware. Buy it if you have time to mess around or wait.
Review: The WGT624 is rather a mixed bag. Some people have problems with it and others don't--however, many do. If you are a newbie or would like a hassle-free, stable router, don't touch this; at least, not until they get a GOOD firmware update and stop...

don't buy it

The Bottom Line: Too many problems with this hardware. As far as I am concerned it is useless, unless you're happy with sometimes on and sometimes off connection.
Review: I've decided to replace my old router with a wireless unit. My purchase consisted of all Netgear gear. The WGT624 router, a WG511T card for my notebook and WG311T PCI adapter for the desktop. All units are listed as 108Mbps and should work...
