When I was recently in the market for a Gigabit switch, I was unable to justify the price of a managed switch from the likes of Dell or Cisco.

This switch is nothing fancy, just a name brand 5 port Gigabit switch. It can be laid down horizontally, and comes with some stands to orient it vertically if needed. I have had absolutely no problems with the switch since installing it several months again, and would recommend it to anyone needing an inexpensive 5 port gigabit ethernet switch. IT even looks relatively nice, with the now standard white curvey Netgear appearance.
