Navigon 7200T review

I've owned one of these for two weeks now. The free-for-life traffic reporting is outstanding and one major reason to buy one of these. Traffic reporting only works if you are connected to the cigarette lighter adaptor because it uses the cord as the antenna. It asks you to look at the screen when a traffic event occurs and gives you the option to select "ignore' or "detour" which automatically re-routes you around the traffic event. The size is good, the price is right. I love the real mode display whenever you come up to a fork in the highway and it gives you a realistic view of the highway signs and which way to turn. I also really like the fact that it reports "street names" instead of saying 'turn here'. The back button sometimes doesn't respond when you push it. One minro drawback is that sometimes I have to double push it to get back to "new destination" screen.  Map updates must be purchased for 3 years (quarterly updates) but you can save a bundle if you purchase it on Ebay instead of from the manufacture's website.

Overall,  I am very satisfied with this unit and recommend it above all others.  It's nearly perfect.
