Email I sent to Garmin with c340 concerns/problems

The Bottom Line: Go with a different Garmin model that is known to be reliable, or try a different brand completley. The Garmin c340 is just an expensive toy.

Not perfect, but CLOSE

SET UP:
It arrived in a box and needed little set up. The only thing I had to do was turn it on once, allow it to find the four satellites...

The Bottom Line: Good for casual drivers in less congested areas; text to speech is still very handy--but perhaps less so in a city environment. Still a good entry-level unit
Review: I recently bought this GPS for my girlfriend because she's been hijacking my Tomtom. I decided on this because it maintained the similar shape of the Tomtom she was used to but it was also the least expensive Garmin unit to feature "text to speech"...
