Very Good Unit, but not great

Review: I recently purchased my first GPS, the Garmin 340. It was a great purchase for the wife, because she tends to get lost a lot. This unit is very easy to setup.

Cons:
-Additional purchase for A/C power (household plug).

Never be lost again--Garmin even tells you street names

The Bottom Line: Get the Garmin c340 for its text-to-speech and up-to-date maps. Many other GPS systems simply cannot compete. Be sure to buy a dashmount to go with it.

The Bottom Line: The c340 has all the functionality you really need. The user interface is easy and intuitive. Because it is not the latest model, you get great value.
