Pros: Great advance notice of turns and easy programming
Cons: Cost of map updates, non-QWERTY keyboard, satelitte searches
The Bottom Line:
For those of us who take wrong turns driving home from work, ANY GPS is a good one! This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: My issues with directions stem from two problems: I am also a "landmark" person, where I can get from here to there if it's some place I've been before AND I can visualize buildings and things that are near where I need to go (after all, street...

Review: OVERVIEW:
I have been using the c340 for about one month and this is what I have found. SET UP: It arrived in a box and needed little set up. The only thing I had to do was turn it on once, allow it to find the four satellites... |

Pros: Small, easy to use, convenient, accurate directions, and long battery life.
Cons: Expensive to use options, difficulty in connecting to satellites, not for off road use.

Pros: Muddled voice and butchered stree names provide hours of entertaining fun.
Cons: The C330 is $70 cheaper and a better value.
The Bottom Line: Garmin's cheaper C330 outperforms the C340.

Review: A few weeks ago, my Garmin C330 was stolen, so I decided that since I loved the C330 so much, I would take the opportunity to upgrade to the C340. A few weeks with the C340, and I find myself missing the C330 even more.

Pros: Very easy to learn, accurate maps and "Jill" is easy to understand.
Cons: Be sure to clean your windshield now and then or the C340 will fall off.
The Bottom Line: If you haven't taken the plunge with GPS navigation this is the one to start with. Also, save $600 on your new car by skipping their built-in. The C340's better.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I purchased the Garmin C340 in April 2006. I travel Ohio and surrounding states making sales calls. I have always carried 80 to 100 regional and county maps and always used them. After about 2 or 3 days of getting used to the Garmin C340 I started...
