We purchased 2 of these about 2 years ago, and have been very happy with them. We use them daily for photo retouching, Web design, Web surfing, office type work, school projects, watching DVDs, etc.
This monitor provides a bright, clear picture with very sharp details. The picture is easily visible even in a sunlit room. The colors are clear and there are no signs of any form of distortion. The monitors were easy to install and set up, everything was handled automatically.
Ergonomically, the monitor is well designed. It is easy to adjust both the height and the tilt of the screen to suit individual preferences. The monitor is elegant and non-intrusive on the desk, despite having full 1600x1200 resolution 20" panels.
The edge/bezel of the monitor is quite thin, which is a benefit if you want to extend your PC desktop across multiple monitors.
After just over a year, one of the screens failed and went black. NEC sent a replacement immediately with absolutely no quibbles, under the 3 year warranty. They even paid for the return postage of the defective unit. I felt very well taken care of with NEC's efficient customer service.
The image quality, design, quality, ergonomics, and solid backing from the manufacturer makes it easy for me to highly recommend this product.
