This Chick Will Even Play It!

I'm a 22 year old red headed college girl that enjoys going out and parties and as frightening as it is.... I LOVE THIS GAME! When my boyfriend brought this game home I assumed I wouldn't see him for the next six to eight weeks. I would have been right if I hadn't gotten in there with him. This game is simply amazing.

I've sat and watched sports games before, not very interested at all, this is the first game I've actually wanted to come in and play. The graphics are really amazing, the attitudes of the players and their reactions to the plays are great. You can really see and feel the impact when your player is hit. The players are very clear in all their actions. The uniforms are rather realistic and they go as far as the older teams having 'old fashioned' helmets. It's so good when my hands get tired I will sit and let the computer play a game out just to watch.

The plays are laid out very well, I'm not totally ignorant when it comes to football but the specific names of plays usually take me a while to catch on to. The offence and defense are spread out in the principle group that you can scroll through. After you choose the first group each three plays are shown at a time with scrolling to the next group. The plays are also color coded to make it even more simple the pass plays have a yellow header and the run plays have a blue header. The layout makes it very easy to find what you want when you want it.

One of the best parts of the game is the crowd. The chanting and cheering really makes the game exciting. Even the announcers, as annoying as it is when you mess up, are wonderful. It's just like watching a game on TV, with the jokes about the coaches and all! Along with the sounds of the crowd and announcers you can hear the crunch and grunt each time a player is hit. The harder the hit, the more crunch.

If you are considering buying a sports game, don't look any further! This game still hasn't gotten old and it's been about two months since we bought it. We play it about 4 nights a week and I've even gotten to where I'll beat my boyfriend... badly (I just hope he doesn't see this review!! He'd be mad for my letting out his secret, he won't let me play him in public). It's a great way to spend an evening at home. Who ever loses gets to take out the garbage.

I suggest this game for anyone into sports, even though someone who isn't will probably like it too if they see it played some. It will entertain kids to adults. What else can I say other than, Get This Game!
