NBA 2k8

This is my second year playing a 2k basketball game and I definitely recommend it for players of all ages and skill levels. NBA 2k8 is perhaps the most realistic of any basketball game out there, and far outmatches EA’s NBA Live. Some cool new features include a dunk contest, 3 point shootout, and a greatly enhanced Association mode. Playing the game really makes you feel like you are running a NBA team because you have to worry about salary bonuses, no trade clauses, and other realistic problems faced by NBA general managers. One of my favorite improvements is that every NBA player shoots the same way in the game as he does in real life. Kobe kicks out leg while draining a fade away and Lebron does his signature one handed power dunk. And yes it is hard to shoot free throws with Shaquille Oneil. The graphics are great on my sony 20 inch television but when you plug it in your high definition tv, get ready to be blown away. You can literally see the sweat running of the players forehead. Whether you are just a casual NBA fan or a hardcore gamer interested in all the things that make a franchise go, NBA 2k8 is the game for you.
