Pros: Power Class

If you are in the market for a neutral power amp, this Mcintosh might be worth a look.

It looks like a McIntosh. Either you will like that or not. Even if you don't you cannot help but marvel at the quality. On lifting it up, you realize that it is heavy. Controls are well place and easily understood. You can run this as in stereo (100wX2 into 8 ohms or 16wX2 into 4 ohms) or brige it to mono and buy two!

When you fire it up, the front VU meters light up in blue. You can choose to leave them off if you so please.

The sound is well, neutral. Full. Goes down deep. Good frequency response. The upper end is devoid of grainy/harsh treble but a tad restrained. The amp has enough grunt to run power hungry speakers.

This is an amp, that you could own for a lifetime. And I believe McIntosh stands behind it's products.
