Great history lesson book

I just finished this book this morning. This book is a novel my 8th grade Language Arts class has to read. Great book! But sad ending. I would see the movie if there was one. I liked when Mrs. Meeker told the person who told Tim to ring the church bell not to involve any more of her family in the war. I would have done the exact same thing. I would have thought they were real people, but since it's fiction, I would think not. Oh well, still it's great. The Epilouge was interesting. I would say the 6-end chapters were the best. 1-5 were boring like, no action.
