I bought this game about a month ago, and I think overall it is a great game. The directions that were included were a little vague, but it is easy enough to pick up and learn as you go. Unlike other sim games, you don't have to feed your sim or make sure that it gets sleep, so your house (that you can decorate) is purly for show. The basic premise is simple - you are sent on various "missions" from the townspeople to help make the town beautiful and lively again, so that more visitors come. When you walk up to a fellow sim, you can press a button and talk to them, but reading the same things over and over can get repetitive. You get to interact with visitor sims to your town and make them happy, and earn money for doing so. There are several mini games included (raquetball, parasailing, lea making, casino, etc) to help you generate more interest in the town and earn more money for yourself.
Overall it is a very addictive game, but if I had to change one thing, I would make it more interactive, where you would have to make sure the feed your sim and make them get some rest.
