Author's Review
So I purchased this game because I am deployed in Iraq and needed a game to help pass the time (don't worry, I'm a female). I played the game from start to finish, but not necessarily because I was in love with the game. The goal of the game is to turn this one star town into a five star town. As cool as that sounds, it is really, really easy to make it a five star town. So this game did not really pass as much time as I would have hoped it to. I'm not really a creative person, either. I stuck to using the normal blueprints that the game supplies for you. I never really tried to create anything new or different, unless I just needed to have a certain amount of pieces on my furniture and could not accomplish that by using the normal pieces. I did like how the different Sims would interact with each other by having picnics together, tickling each other, playing at each other's houses, etc. The game definitely keeps you busy by how many things the residents want you to build for them. A huge negative on the game is the loading time. The game takes forever to load anything. If you leave a house, or go to another section of the town, or go into decorate mode, it all takes forever. At first you may think there is something wrong with your Wii, but it's nothing. At the end of it all, I'm glad I have nephews and nieces who are loving this game right now. At least this game isn't just sitting on my shelf.
