The single best gift for nursing moms

I was given this nursing pillow as a gift, and I found it to be the single most useful gift I received as a new mom. I have been breastfeeding my daughter for 13 months now. The first four months, she was nursed 5-6 times a day every day, and neither the foam of the pillow nor the slipcover have worn away or degraded.

The foam is firm enough to offer good support, but not too firm as to be uncomfortable. The back piece, which snaps at your side provides lumbar support - which made breastfeeding so much more comfortable. It made me sit with correct posture, something my lactation consultants emphasized for comfort, and it relieved pain in my back from carrying the baby around all day.
