MTX Thunder 4244 Car Amp

when i first got this amp it would overheat and cut off, then come back on when it cooled, doing this over and over. After a couple days and playing around with the settings it worked fine. Since i have a hatch back with a cover over the trunk section, in 80+ degree weather the amp would overheat...I had to take the cover off and have air circulate so the amp could breath better.

Overall its a great product, powering my alpine type R speakers in back and infinity components in front. There is a noticable difference in clarity also with the amp.
