Pros: Gary Cooper, Frank Capra, Strong Story, Nicely filmed
Cons: film quality.... but very forgivable for the time period
The Bottom Line: Does money corrupt a person? Mr. Deeds shows just what a good person is capable of, even in the face of adversity.
Review: Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936) Directed by Frank Capra Writing credits Clarence Budington Kelland (story) Robert Riskin (screenplay) Runtime: 115 min ------------------------------
