Mr. Bean - British 00-----oh my gosh this is hilarious!
Pros:
All the great episodes, one box. Funny British comedy with a worldwide appeal.
Cons:
Menu's are so-so. No language (no biggie) or audio options.
The Bottom Line:
This is a fine collection of one of the most hilarious (albeit quirky) British actors. Partial nudity could bring up questions to young viewers. Hilarious!

Author's Review
First off, I want to say that this is my first review on a tv series.
This DVD set showcases the one and only Rowan Atkinson in an unforgettable British comedy. 3 DVDs, infact. Each disc is loaded with hilarious moments that will have you laughing wholeheartedly!
I remember when I was about 10 years old and my dad was watching some quirky guy on tv and cracking up. He pulled me over and said "Son, watch this! This is funny!" I just sat there laughing and I said who is this guy??? That's when I found out about Mr. Bean.
(Possible spoilers) There are some truly hilarious episodes on here that I even talk about at work. If you are looking for a funny tv series with a very small amount of talking, then this is for you. Bean has so many odd isms that even the toughest egg to crack is going to spill a few chuckles here and there.
In one episode, he places a brand new lazy-boy on his mini couper. Being such a small car, Bean knows that he can't drive it regularly and he is going to have to sit in the lazy-boy. Using a broomstick and ropes, he creates a make-shift way of controlling the gas pedal; brakes; and steering wheel. In this sense, he's able to get back home without having to pay extra money to get the chair delivered professionally. This is one of the many different ideas that Bean comes up with.
Bean is always put in such a random position, which makes all of his quirks that much more noticeable. He has to take a math test, checks into a hotel room, goes Christmas shopping, and helps a guy that has a heart attack. All of these situations require a normal person to be somewhat serious, but then there's Mr. Bean. There are plenty more episodes that you can shake a stick at.
Another thing that Mr. Bean has a bad tendency of doing (not necessarily bad for the viewer, just another quirk) is trying to one-up random people he sees fit for competition. Just watch the scene where he turns a brunch buffet into a glutton bowl. It's HILARIOUS!
For any Bean fan out there, I HIGHLY recommend this set. It has all of the memorable episodes that were shown on PBS. It also has some extras on the last disc that weren't previously shown. The menu is nothing special. You pick the episode, and it is broken into 6 parts - the first 3 parts make "Part 1" and the last 3 make "Part 2". There is no language selection (it's not necessary) surround sound, or Dolby options.
So here's this guy... probably in his early 40's, yet he acts as if he was 9. He has some brilliant ideas, but they are always cooked with a healthy dose of nonsense. British comedy isn't for everyone, but I think that Mr. Bean is. I would also like to say that since things are done so different in England than they are in America, to American citizens this box set is either a hit or a miss. If you find his quirks stupid, then you won't like this. However, if you find is quirks to be appealing somewhat, then chances are you will get a great kick out of watching someone make a fool of themself.
