Did I Get A Good One --?

My unit has worked perfectly since the first time I used it. So far I've used up eight cylinders of fuel with it and not a single problem. It lights up first shot every time, it works fine at both high and low settings and keeps my enclosed porch nice and warm on 20 degree days.

I've read several complaints by others and I'm wondering if the problem could be these disappointed users didn't read the part in the instructions about purging air from the line before lighting the first time with a newly installed fuel cylinder. This is done by simply holding the knob down in the PILOT position for at least 15 seconds.

Also, because properly engaging the Pilot position requires depressing the control knob all the way down within a narrow space between the OFF and the LO positions. It's sometimes necessary to feel around a bit to find this narrow slot because missing it and not getting the knob pushed all the way down will prevent ignition.

When the pilot lights the knob should be held down in the PILOT position for a few seconds before rotating the knob to Lo or HIGH.
