A Mixed Bag

Date of Review:  Jul 16, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you would like a full featured phone with the ability to surf the web and form factor is an important selling point the Q is probably for you.
Review: The phone's OS is pretty stable however the interface is somewhat laggy. The phone and its interface has a bit of a learning curve but thats just motorola for you. After a few days of using the phone and getting to know where the buttons are on it,...

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAPLY MADE

Date of Review:  Mar 15, 2007
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend this phone until Motorola fixes the problems and comes out with a new improved model....In the meantime look at a Treo or a Blackberry
Review: I bought the Treo 600 two years ago through Verizon. The only thing I did not like about it was the poor reception in my area. This phone would cut in and out which was problem. Luckily I didn't use it too much for talking on so it wasn't a huge...

A waste of money

Date of Review:  Jul 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: A piece of junk.
Review: I purchased a motorola q phone about 3 weeks ago and have had some quality time with it to write this review. Let me just say that I am not very impressed with the phone ... let me give you some reasons why.
Yes the phone is slim. In fact that...

Sleek but Weak.

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2007
The Bottom Line: Look elsewhere or wait for the next version, because as a phone, the Q is bad enough to cause relationship problems and lost business deals.
Review: I was pretty excited to hear about a Smartphone that doesn't use up a whole lot of pocket real estate, as I'm not ready to become a cowboy cellphone user sporting a holster. Sadly, the Q doesn't deliver.

Let me start by saying that this...

Great SMARTPHONE at a great price

Date of Review:  Jul 31, 2006
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the phone if it fits your individual needs. It's got everything at a great price.
Review: OVERVIEW:

I've had this phone for several weeks and love it. I've seen it take a bad rap from Blackberry lovers, Palm fanboys and windows haters. I've used all of them. Let me provide a reality based, unbiased (and hopefully useful)...

Difficult to Use/Frustrating

Date of Review:  Aug 11, 2008
The Bottom Line: Avoid this phone. Difficult/frustrating to use, not user-friendly, has issues.
Review: First of all, I work in IT and consider myself a geek. Yet, I find this phone difficult to use. First, the basic functions are difficult at best, and require several keys to execute. I'm not impressed with the difficulty of use for common functions...

Q Will Work for You

Date of Review:  Jul 19, 2006
Review: A longtime blackberry user, I switch to the Motorola Q recently and have been greatly satisfied. The modified Windows OS works seamlessly, and with Q's lightweight design and functionability I have yet to complain about this PDA's performance. Email...

OK Phone for the Price

Date of Review:  Jul 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: This is a good phone, especially for those who want some of the features of a smart phone. Not for those who need more office type applications. I.e. word, spreadsheets.
Review: The Moto Q is a nice, light weight, thin smart phone. I've had other smart phones like a palm one Treo, and blackberries. The shape of the Moto Q is much better than a Treo and is about 1/3 less thick with no antenna. The screen is good sized,...

Motorola Q

Date of Review:  Jun 11, 2007
Review: What a piece of junk. Took 6 hours online with verizon to get the internet option to work. To tether the unit you have to disable the phone and switch to modem mode. Even with the extended battery you have less than 6 hours with 30 minutes of talk...

Don't let them lie to you.

Date of Review:  Aug 13, 2008
The Bottom Line: Pass this phone by. It is horrible.
Review: This is the first smartphone I have bought, and I wish I had bought a blackberry instead. I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it back in Dec of 07. I had to take it back 5 time because it would reset itself and never get past the...
