brad's Experience

Date of Review:  Aug 24, 2007
The Bottom Line: Probably Sprint's best value. If you have to stay with Sprint, I would get this phone. Among the smart phones, this one hangs in there with the best of them.
Review: Howdy folks.

This is a review of the Moto Q smartphone, made for the Sprint network. I am using it on the Sprint Network.

My contract was up on August 1 (2007) and I decided to re-up with Sprint. I didn't want to, but my entire...

Smartest Smartphone I've owned yet. Excellent PDA/Internet

Date of Review:  Apr 27, 2007
The Bottom Line: As a phone, buttons are not perfect; as a PDA, this gadget is ideal. As an mp3/video player, it's good enough. Highspeed internet & landscape screen is really nice.
Review: First of all, I was surprised that nobody had reviewed this phone yet, but I found reviews at other sites before making my purchase. I had difficulty finding the place to review this phone! If you do searches for "Motorola Q" or "Moto Q" (even...

DISAPPOINTMENT IN ONE LETTER - Q

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2007
The Bottom Line: Disappointed, yet I would buy it again compared to the other smart phones out there because of its size and ease of use. Just need to lock the keys.
Review: OK, so I didn't read the reviews here, I talked and talked and talked to people "in the know" The Q is supposed to be a "hot" smart phone, but I'm pretty disappointed.

The pros:
1. Voice quality on the phone is excellent.
2. The...

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAPLY MADE

Date of Review:  Mar 15, 2007
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend this phone until Motorola fixes the problems and comes out with a new improved model....In the meantime look at a Treo or a Blackberry
Review: I bought the Treo 600 two years ago through Verizon. The only thing I did not like about it was the poor reception in my area. This phone would cut in and out which was problem. Luckily I didn't use it too much for talking on so it wasn't a huge...

Sleek but Weak.

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2007
The Bottom Line: Look elsewhere or wait for the next version, because as a phone, the Q is bad enough to cause relationship problems and lost business deals.
Review: I was pretty excited to hear about a Smartphone that doesn't use up a whole lot of pocket real estate, as I'm not ready to become a cowboy cellphone user sporting a holster. Sadly, the Q doesn't deliver.

Let me start by saying that this...

Great SMARTPHONE at a great price

Date of Review:  Jul 31, 2006
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the phone if it fits your individual needs. It's got everything at a great price.
Review: OVERVIEW:

I've had this phone for several weeks and love it. I've seen it take a bad rap from Blackberry lovers, Palm fanboys and windows haters. I've used all of them. Let me provide a reality based, unbiased (and hopefully useful)...

Moto Q - NOT a BlackBerry Replacement

Date of Review:  Dec 9, 2006
The Bottom Line: Don't buy the phone, it has too many problems and downfalls that do not outweigh its superficial benefits.
Review: The Motorolla Q was one of the most hyped up phones of 2006. Given the recently popularity of the RAZR, most of style-conscious America was waiting for the next revolution from Motorolla. And when the buzz started going about a possible smart-phone...

Moto Q with Good

Date of Review:  Feb 26, 2007
The Bottom Line: Great phone and great PDA!
Review: This is a review for the Moto Q with Sprint Nextel and Good Mobile Messaging.

FORM FACTOR: First impression out of the box... What a sweet looking PDA! Coming from a Treo 700P that is heftier the Moto Q is a welcomed change. It amazes me...

My Experience With the Q and Telus

Date of Review:  Oct 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: This unit is extremely unreliable. It randomly shuts itself off and stops receiveing calls several times a day -requiring a battery removal to get it started again.
Review: I purchased the Moto Q about 1 month ago from Telus. I had the device for a day or so and I noticed that it would randomly turn itself off several times a day. Each time would require that I remove the battery to get it to start again.

I...

Nice all around phone and PDA

Date of Review:  Apr 5, 2009
The Bottom Line: I would definitely buy this phone. It competes with other multimedia phones and is a good value.
Review: The Motorola Q phone is a great all-around personal digital assistant and personal multimedia player. It's great for listening to MP3s, watching the movies, and surfing the net with.

I love the keys on this phone because they're easy to use...
