I really like my Motorola V176 Net 10 with Net 10 service
Pros:
I like the features, design, and 10 cents per minute service.
Cons:
You are charged to hear voicemail unless you call on landline with a password.
The Bottom Line:
This is a good phone and deal for cell phone beginners with no contracts. For 10 cents a minute the Net 10 Motorola V176 is terrific.

I had not ever had a cell phone until earlier this year when my 13 year old nephew was moving up to a newer phone. I told him he should give me his V176. He hesitated on that idea but he gave it to me a few days later. You open it and dial a number you want or press the center button and a desktop comes up with: Prepaid, Messages, Web Access, Phonebook, Office Tools, Multimedia, Recent Calls, Games & Apps, and Settings. Everything is easy to read and the ring loudness/vibration can be adjusted in Settings. You can text. There is an alarm for travel wakeups. There is no camera. It seems solidly built at 3/4" thick with rounded corners on top and almost circular on the bottom for a soft feel when in your pocket. An owner's manual is available online if you get this phone without from someone. The keypads light up in a nice blue light. The Net 10 time can be purchased at 10 cents per minute with phone cards from stores or online from the Net 10 site which is very easy. I must purchase 300 minutes every two months for $30. Leftover minutes accumulate onto your new $30 time purchase and the available time and next purchase date is posted on the screen when you open. The only thing I do not like as of now is I have not figured how to delete incoming voice messages without listening to them. You are charged for listening to the messages and this is not good if later you know who called you and don't need to hear the message. Let me know if you find out how to delete messages like these. I have only not been able to receive service when at Sugar Mountain, NC in a hotel beside the mountain and inside cell phone blocked House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. Inside my house it works fine and people can call me when I tie up my regular phone when online. Overall if you don't get lots of calls each day this is a great deal and a great phone for average Joe's like me who don't require camera phones since I already have a digital cam.
I have now learned that you can listen to voicemail by calling your number from a landline, listening to your recording, hitting star, entering a password, and this will allow you to listen to and delete messages free of charges. Otherwise you incur charges from the V176 and Net 10.
