Works like a charm

So, lets review. In the current time of phones and mobile devices, there comes a need for ease of communication. Being on the go is never a time to be tethered to anything. As such, the requirement of an easy means of reaching your friends and family is a must. Motorola has made life a little bit easier with the introduction of Bluetooth hands free devices. In this particular case, the Motorola H350 is a means to accomplish this.

The first thing you'll notice about Bluetooth hands free devices in general is their ability to allow the owner to talk on their cellular phone without being chained by the scourge known as a wire. The H350 provides a bit more than the simple convenience of being hands free. The H350 is a fully functional ear piece, leaving almost no need for interaction with the phone itself. The H350 allows for pick up, voice dialing, and even joining of a 3-way call.

How does it accomplish all of this? Well, the H350 streamlined the user interface by featuring only employing 3 functional keys. There are two volume buttons and a call button. Through usage of all these, you can perform the most commonly used functions that have most people reaching for their phones. Receiving and hanging up on callers is as simple as just tapping the Call Button. If your phone supports voice dialing, you can tap the Call Button to access your stored voice names. And redialing the last caller just requires you to hold the Call Button until you hear a beep. It's that simple.

With the H350, you can out perform any normal hands free device. Built on Bluetooth 2.0 technology, you have up to a 100 meter range from the handset. Although most people aren't tall enough to actually separate their hands free and cellular phones more than 2-3 feet, this feature comes in handy if you set your cellular phone down and walk away. Personally, I've left my phone charging and walked from one end of the house to another and still maintained a crystal clear quality. Matter of fact, I've even left my phone downstairs and walked upstairs with the H350 and still maintained clarity.

With such range and power, the H350 almost seems like the perfect hands free device. Well, it's not without its flaws. There is a high learning curve to those who don't have time to study the manual's description of audio tones. The 11 audio tones each signal a not necessarily intuitive event that some may find confusing. In addition to this, the H350 is very uncomfortable when wearing a hat that presses it against your head. If using this device in the winter, you're more than certain to feel it jammed into your ear. The H350 also beeps off and on for seemingly no reason. While my cellular phone indicates no issues in pairing, I find myself hearing beeps from it that signal a pairing confirmation or voice activation when neither should be in effect. This is rare, but happens often enough to be worth mentioning.

Despite the few issues, this device still has a bit more good. Its light weight design allows it to be worn for hours without hurting your ear. Unlike some hands free devices, this is reversible. The H350 can be charged in as little as one hour (excluding the initial 2 hour charge). And it comes with detailed instructions on how to pair it with most phones.

All together, the H350 is a great little device. Considering the fact that I can jog without it falling off, it comes in handy for much more than most hands free devices. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this device. It was a gift to me, and I'm sure anyone you give this to will appreciate it as much as I have.
