You can do it! Thanks to "Mother"

Mother Earth News has been a great friend to me for 30 years. I have every issue since the beginning. I like this magazine for it's articles on self sufficiency,boot strap businesses,gardening, animal husbandry,and most of all articles on low cost self built housing. Over the years Mother has highlighted stack wood building, rammed earth building, tee-pees,geodesics, and just plan 'simple' low cost cabins such as the one in issue 181 "Build A Hideaway Cabin For $2000". This cabin article shows plans and ideas for what would be a great get-a-way cabin or even a primary residence for the "Back to the Earth" enthusiast. Other great features are stories on recycling and alternate energy methods.Born out of the Hippie movement this magazine is a must have for everyone even if you don't plan to move "Out Yonder" you can use the backyard composting and folk medicine and remedies type articles.
