Mortal Kombat - A Must Buy

I purchased this game when I bought my playstation. It is a must buy. The graphics are 5 stars. The sound and game play is true to the coin operated arcade machines(without spending quarter after quarter). If you are into the Mortal Kombat cult, then this game is for you.

The game boasts many different characters from past and present. There is also hidden characters to find and unlock. There is also a slot machine like code you can put in before each fight to change the environment or type of game play. For example: You can fight a dark match(fighting with no lights on), you can warp to the final boss of the game. With features like this and all of the possibilities of this game Midway sure has a big hit on there hands for many years to come. Also you can be challenged by another player at anytime, a cool feature. The games game play is smooth and clean. From the uppercuts you can throw to the special moves by each of the characters. The only downside of the game is that you have to wait for it to load before starting a match. Also if you choose the character Shang Sung you have to wait while in combat for his morphs to happen. It takes away from the game play.

I would recommend this game to any fighting fanatic out there. It is easy to learn the special moves for each character after a little practice. Finally Mortal Kombat has come back home.
