Great Carrier, Esp. for Heavy Baby!

I bought this carrier because I wanted to be able to "swaddle" my child to my body in many different positions - newborns truly love being held tightly against your body, and the Moby wrap is a great way to trick them into thinking they are still in the womb! The Moby is really just one long piece of fabric, and I looked into making one myself, but it actually seemed cheaper and more sensible to just get the Moby. My baby loves being help against my chest and it is a great way to get him to sleep when he is fussy, especially if I wrap him up and then go walking around the house - the gentle bouncing motion works great. I tried a one-shouldered sling, and it killed my back! I have a heavy baby, almost 15 lbs, and the Moby still hasn't hurt my back one bit - the large amount of fabric spreads the weight out over both shoulders and all across your back. It is one size fits all, so my tall husband can use it just as easily. It comes with a small "stuff sack" for storing. The one thing I dislike about the Moby wrap is that it takes a minute to put it on and get it ready for baby, when sometimes you have a screaming child and you just want to wrap him up immediately!
