I bought the 2350en from BUYDIG.com and it was dropped shipped to me from the manufacture. Took about 5 days to reach me. I was assured of the rebate, but when I got the form it stated that it wasn't valid unless you paid 879 or more for it. Uggh. I paid 795 for it and it was the lowest price I could find on the web. I did find one that I was going to get when I found in TINY print that it was re--furbushed, so if you find it CHEAP, make sure of what you're getting!
The print quality is great and it produces very good print quality. It's nice to take a digital picture and have it in the next few minutes.
As most of the people have stated, the manual is next to worthless, and the CD has a complete user guide (200 pages) and a reference guide (about 400 pages). It would be nice to have had the duplex option when I printed the documents out. I took them to Kinkos to have them drilled for a 3 ring binder. I found the extra memory (256 Meg) for $73 from Kahlon (kahlon.com OEM#: 2600634-400, Kahlon # KNEC636). This really beats out the other guys. The memory is simple to install so upgrading is easy. The duplex option is a good idea, along with the addition of a hard disk for some types of scripts and other operation that require it. Away from the others that complained, I didn't find the fan noise to be a problem as I leave it on 24x7. I can only assume that the problem came about by not reading the manual.
The display is next to useless, they should have put in a backlight for ease of reading, I used a flashlight to read it!
Had some problems getting it to work connected via the ethernet connection on the Mac, but the PC went very easily. The PC software went out to the LAN and found the printer, the Mac wasn't so smart.
I had (and still do) problems with the Mac showing up as a Postscript printer, Photoshop would not recognize it as such.
Overall a great printer.
