Miele do not stand by its faulty products
Pros:
The storage drawer is self closing ! Yeah !
Cons:
Does not perform the most basic function of a dryer; To dry your clothes.
The Bottom Line:
One of the most expensive dryer on the market that CANNOT DRY, and Miele will blame everybody else but themselves.

Author's Review
Bought this dryer about 4 weeks ago from Oberg and Lindquist in Westwood New Jersey. When we use the Normal program to dry clothes, towel, or anything else, it always leave the content a bit damp, damp enough that you cannot fold it or use it, so we always have to add an extra 45 minutes program to dry it, or if we use the Extra Dry program, clothes got dry, but were baked and shrunk. First trying to call Oberg and Lindquist, got the usual run around that I need to contact Miele, although unit is only a few weeks old, I assume the retailer should bear some responsibility. Called Miele tech support, after a long wait, a very unfriendly technician told me that there is nothing wrong with clothes being damp since the program leave 2% of moisture in the clothing, warned me that if a technician came out and cannot find a mechanical problem, I will be charged, and passed me to the users department, from which I was told that either it is an installation problem or I use too much detergent (Of course, anything but Miele's fault !) I need to try use less detergent so clothes would dry, although I told him that I usually use only half the recommended amount in the pouring cup. I guess when support people start to give you lame excuse like that for the failure of their own products, they are basically telling you that they have your money and they don't care. So as far as Miele is concern, they wipe their hands clean, it is either my own misuse or a bad installation.
Needless to say, we WILL NEVER CONSIDER A MIELE AGAIN !
