Pros:
I can't speak to these right now. I am sure there are plenty though.
Cons:
Excessive and prolonged cooling fan noise. Con outweighs any pros in my opinion.
The Bottom Line:
I would not buy this product again. Had I known in advance, the fan noise would have been a deal breaker.

I have used this oven less than 10 times. I think the cooling fan noise is too loud and continues for too long (1-2 hours even if you only have the oven on for 20 minutes). I want to eat dinner at my table in my kitchen and I find the fan noise extremely disruptive and annoying. I had Miele come to the house to make sure it was not broken or installed incorrectly and I was told that this is the noise it should make and that there is no problem with my oven. I went back to the store where I purchased the oven and they told me Miele is the quietest of all of the electric ovens and attempted to demonstrate this to me by turning on both a Miele and a Thermador. The Miele was definitely quieter than the Thermador but still too loud in my opinion. I was not able to compare the Miele to a Wolf.
I went back and did several searches on the web to see if I missed something about this product before I purchased it. There is really very little out there about fan noise in electric ovens and nothing that I could find about the Miele. The store where I bought it obviously did not mention this to me in advance. I am extremely disappointed. If I could do this all over again I would look at gas ovens, not electric.
There are 4 other important points to note. First, the technicians who came to look at the fan told me that if I had the oven installed with cabinets on both sides it would reduce the fan noise. My oven has a wood box around it but there are countertops on one side and a walkway on the other. Second, I just moved in and do not have shades or many other sound dampening fabrics in the room. This might help reduce the noise. However, it is a kitchen and there is a limit to the amount of fabrics and soft surfaces I will have. Third, I was told not to leave the oven door open while the oven is cooling. I had thought this might help the oven cool off faster. But the technician told me that it sends the heat straight up to the electric panel and Miele does not recommend this. Finally, if your kitchen has a door and you don't plan on eating in your kitchen, then this probably will not be a problem for you. But my kitchen is open to both my dining area and family room. The fan noise will be an issue when I want to enjoy a quiet dinner with my husband and when we want to entertain.
For the record, this is the first time I have written a product review on the web. I strongly believe that other people should be warned about this and have the opportunity to call Miele and other electric oven manufacturers to hear what they have to say before purchasing.
I have no other comments about the oven. I have not used it enough.
