Miele S163

I recently purchased the Miele S163 as a second vacuum to use on my hardwood floors on the first floor of my house.  I also have a canister style Miele and I tired of lugging the canister vacuum up and down stairs several days a week.  I have two cats and so my first/main floor is in need of daily vacuuming.  This is a great vacuum and I am very happy with it.  I spent a week researching the options for stick-type vacuums and finally decided on the Miele, especially since I really am happy with my canister style.  This does have bags but I personally prefer changing a bag instead of emptying a cup because (1) the bags don't fill up as quick as the cups and (2) it is much less messy to remove and toss a bag than emptying a cup.  This has a nice long cord, which I prefer because most reviews of the cordless vacs complained of models not holding a charge for more than 15-20 minutes, and I have experienced this issue with small hand-held vacs that I have used in the past. I also like the on-off switch located in two places (the second location makes it convenient when using as a hand-vac); it has multiple configurations (hand-held, extension to allow to clean under furniture).  The vacuum is heavy to carry but it moves very easily when using.  The cost is definitely at the high end but I anticipate using this for many, many years.  There should be an accessory holder included because there are two extra attachments and no place to keep them with the vac.
