Miele Advanta Dishwasher

Don't buy it. I have built 6 homes with all ranges of dishwashers, and this is by far the worst. It does not clean well, dirt and detergent residue remain. I have to rewash most dishes. It isn't noisy, but I can hear it, and I could never hear the Bosch. We have to turn up the TV when it runs. We HAVE to run hot water in the sink before beginning the cycle, which wouldn't be a big issue if only it performed well.

We purchased our home new, after it was completely finished and could not choose our own appliances. All the others are fabulous. Upon calling the appliance store that supplied our appliances, we were told to read our manual. Miele was the only company that did not give us a manual. We were told to download it off the Internet. We were told that it didn't work because we probably didn't use a rinse agent...we did. We were told to turn on the hot water before starting the dishwasher....we already knew to do that with all European models. They are coming out to check it for us next week, but they don't think they can do anything for us.

And here's another kicker....it takes 2 1/2 hours for one complete cycle to run. If anyone is still interested, watch for mine to show up on Craig's List!
