Point, Push, Produce

We bought our Microtek 4800 when our other scanner went out. Just by looking at it, it looked very easy to operate, and we were not disappointed in the least. The buttons are made for dummies. There are five different buttons, all with VERY easy pictures to tell you what they are for. My 6 year old can do it, and probably my 2 year old could too.

The buttons cover scanning, printing, emailing, transferring and putting on the web. It all happens at a touch of the button.

I noticed some think the scanning quality is bad, but that may be a problem with their printer, as I have been very happy with the scan quality. It is clear and precise. I really like the feature that centers whatever you have scanned. I scanned receipts and the receipt was put in the middle of the paper. The scanner also makes things brighter. A receipt that was very light and hard to read, was made very clear, crisp and dark. I was very happy.

The price was $49.00 where I got it and it was more than worth the money. I recommend this to anyone. It should meet the needs of personal and even small business needs. I own my own business and have been happy with the way it works.
