Windows XP Professional

Pros: It is very secure Operating system,Plug and Play,security schemes are very help full

Cons: Problem in XP SP2 is that it gives "GENERIC HOST ERROR" when connected to Internet

Pros: many updates, great support and usability

Cons: Bugs and viruses like Windows XP very much. Never run windows without antivir!

Pros: I like it cause it always gets updated.

Cons: I don't like that it doesn't have driver support for all hardware install.

The Bottom Line: Good for now but Should upgrade with in 2 years to Windows Vista.

Pros: efficient and reliable; people I speak to have still not migrated away

Cons: not as secure as vista

The Bottom Line: The price here for XP pro is very reasonable indeed, and I very much suspect XP will be with us for a long time yet!

Pros: Uses a significantly less amount of system resources than Windows Vista

Cons: The graphics are not as nice as vista, but runs faster.

The Bottom Line: I would get XP professional over any of the other Windows operating systems because of it's speed and reliability.

Pros: all software that works on it ! easy for everyone to understand (!)

Cons: weak to viruses, bad file system, not open. to easy, intended to keep people dumb.

The Bottom Line: Use whatever u need . This is not the best ! I`d recommend it to a friend who needs programs with no support on other os !

Pros: -Easy To Use -Easy To Understand -No Problems With Updating -Great Support For Any Hardware

Cons: -Hardware Changes Can Get Annoying -Some Registry Glitches May Occur And Be Permanent

Pros: extremely easy to install easier than Linux to manage applications and data

Cons: still plagued with regular updates that aren't always beneficial.

The Bottom Line: If you don't have the time to learn Linux or the applications that your livelihood depend on are slaves to Windows products then XP is THE way to go.
