Quick, Simple, and Surprisingly Powerful

FrontPage typically gets a bad reputation from developers and I understand their frustration. Products like Dreamweaver are really nice, but for many people FrontPage is all they will ever need and it will server them well. I am a developer and I LOVE FrontPage. Let me start off by saying I also love Dreamweaver, but for more intense applications and for PHP mostly. FrontPage is not a bulky application and it lets me get into my clients' site quickly to edit them live. It also is a great alternative to offer my clients if they can't afford or see the need for a complex content management system to be integrated into their web site. Most of them catch on really quick. The FrontPage extensions work great in conjunction with FrontPage if they are installed right on the host server. They are actually very powerful and allow for some really amazing functionality by people who are less savvy at programming. The database results wizard is extremely powerful and there is tons of documentation out there on how to modify it outside the box and make it more efficient. Google "spooky diet" if you're interested - great stuff. So, in conclusion, as a professional web designer and developer, I would say that I use FrontPage about 75% of the time. Also, I might note that FrontPage's successor is called Expressions Web Designer and it has all the same great features, plus more. I just started using it and love it even more. It seems like Dreamweaver and FrontPage had a baby and made Expressions Web Designer.
