This is a great mouse.

Pros: Stores receiver on bottom, inexpensive.

Cons: Signal range is a bit short, short battery life.

I have purchased two of these. I gave the first away to a friend as I replaced it from a Logitech. A mistake I will not repeat. I am on a PowerBook with OS X 10.4.2 and now that I have the second Microsoft mouse I am happy again. It just works and works great. I have never had any trouble with it, other than a somewhat short battery life. But since it uses only 1 AA battery I assume that is why. I get only about a month per battery. I think this the best mouse I have owned, plus the receiver looks pretty cool. Maybe the only other downside is it doesn't fit my hand as well as other mice I have used but I am used to it and don't notice anymore.
