The Bottom Line: Looks like, in the final picture, Microsoft may have actually developed a product slightly less bloaty than some of its competitors', not that either sets the bar very high.

Basic webcam

The Bottom Line: Don't pay too much. Buy a separate microphone.
Review: The Lifecam VX-3000 is functional basic webcam, somewhat let down by a weak microphone and a bloated software package that could use some work. It s worth the $20 I paid for it, but I think it's overpriced at anything near the full retail price.

Great camera

Review: Just bought this camera at Comp USA for under $30 after rebate today and installed it in minutes. Easy install, easy set up, good picture quality even in darker environment. Software lets you adjust brightness,hue etc. Would highly recommend.

Overall, I would highly recommend this web cam. It s easy to set up and navigate and you get a clear, crisp, concise image and will bring years of fun!

Review: Web cams are a lot of fun, so of course I had to try this one out. It s fun to share photos with other people online and to talk with them as well. Web cams can help you do all of that including helping you find a date! Go figure! Definitely worth...

Review: First experience with webcams so I can't really compare to anything else. However, it was easy to install and pretty easy to figure out the settings. I don't think I paid much more than $40 and it's been well worth it to see distant family, etc...

Didn't work with Windows 2000

Review: I bought this to use with my laptop. My laptop has Windows 2000 and doesn't have enough horsepower to run XP. This camera won't work without XP.

The fine print on the box says: "For a Windows Based PC."
