A.K.A...that same game featured in my current profile pic these past few months - DUH. |
|||
|
Pros: Blending Snake into the environments like a banana shake.
Cons: Certain bosses are stripped of a background, and it's possible to defeat them easily, too.
The Bottom Line: MGS fans will be disappointed that some bosses need work, and that tag collecting is nowhere to be found. Despite this, MGS3 is still the best game of 2004.
Review: Love is a word that gets thrown around a lot. Kids say it to their parents, parents to their kids, lovers to each other, and then gamers to their games. Loving a game... a franchise, a game character - a genius whose life has revolved around the design ...

Pros: Great Gameplay, Graphics, Sounds & Music. Completely Gripping Story.
Cons: Still many questions open for debate...
The Bottom Line: A game to bring out the secret agent in you.
Review: Survival is the name of the game. The gaming industry changed forever in 1998 when Metal Gear Solid brought a combination of stealth, state of the art graphics, game play, and a strong story line to the original PlayStation. Ever since then, ...

Pros: Great weapons, Awsome story line, it's not Splinter Cell, and over all just FUN
Cons: Impossible to get 100% Camo, as portrayed in previews.
The Bottom Line: Definitely pick up a copy of this. A must have for any gamer, and just all around a great game. Give it a try!
Review: Survival of the Snakest When I got home from the mall I couldn't wait to open up my new Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. This game was on my most anticipated games list, and now it's on my favorites list. Game is great all around, with new ...

Pros: No more Raiden! Great graphics, plot and gameplay.
Cons: A few minor quibbles.
The Bottom Line: A worthy addition to your Playstation 2 collection, and a worthy follow up to the previous Metal Gear Solid games.
Review: We've all been waiting since the masterful Metal Gear Solid was first released on the playstation for it's worthy follow-up. No other game has created such a gripping story line and characters that seem so real. Metal Gear Solid 2 was a great game in ...

Pros: Amazing story, graphics, gameplay, etc. The ending can bring a tear to your eye!
Cons: Characters could of been developed more, horrible lip-synching.
The Bottom Line: If you're a fan of the previous Metal Gear Solid games and you haven't already purchased this.... for shame. This is without a doubt the great game I've ever played.
Review: It's been three years since the last Metal Gear Solid game from director Hideo Kojima was released for the Playstation 2 console, entitled Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The most recent, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the third ...

Pros: Amazingly interactive environments, smart reactive A.I., tons of secrets, best looking MGS to date.
Cons: some easy boss battles, alot of railed shooting near the end, little downloadable content
The Bottom Line: for fans of MGS this is a must buy, alternatively you can hold out for MGS3:subsistence which will be loaded with even more stuff
Review: I have to hand it to kojima & co., they really raised the bar for PS2 in its last few years of shelf life, and they are showing us they really do care about the consumer in this case unlike so many other 3rd party companys producing games for sonys old ...

Pros: Insanely deep cinemas, ultra-realism, camouflage effectiveness, writing, graphics, boss concepts, JAMES BOND COMEDY!
Cons: Counterintuitive perspective changes, ridiculous beginning mortality rate, Snake Vs. Monkey
The Bottom Line: I would get it if you can get past a beginning mortality rate Jack Kevorkian would be proud to call his own. The cinemas blow the eyes and mind.
Review: Metal Gear Solid 3 has brought back the magic to my gaming experience. No longer do I have to guess what or how much is being taken out of gameplay during extra-long cinemas. Scaling proportions allow long gunshots, the animation is even better than ...

Pros: Awesome gameplay. Stealth has never been so good. Graphics are great.
Cons: Cut scenes take the show to much of the time. The lips don't match up.
The Bottom Line: No owner of the Playstation 2 has a good excuse not to play this game besides the fact that they may be a tad to young.
Review: Metal Gear Solid is a very renowned game series. It's director and producer Hideo Kojima is an action game specialist for sure. Sons of Liberty doesn't quite compare to this game and MGS one hasn't aged to well to even compare. For any gamer looking for ...

Pros: The graphics and environments are astonishing, along with the storyline.
Cons: The cut scenes are just a bit looooong!
The Bottom Line: Overall I totally recommend this game to anyone, even if you have not played the other ones it is still worth playing.
Review: The Metal Gear seris is directed and produced by none other than Hideo Kojima, one of the greatest minds in the videogame industry today. Well, the story starts off with Snake going on a mission to save a Russian scientist by the name of Sokolov who has ...

Pros: Just read my review! - and buy!
Cons: No apparent major cons.
The Bottom Line: Awesome - buy!
Review: How does Konami do it? You think it's time to have a breather after having your hand glued to the controller for 6 months playing Pro Evolution Soccer4, when Konami bring out another 'corker' like this. And the reason you brought your eyes away from the ...
