George wishes a Merry Christmas Strait to You!

George Strait is better than the best and Merry Christmas Strait to You is no exception! He brings traditional Christmas carols to life by singing them traditionally. They are well done with George Strait's special touch. Track 4 says it all. "Here comes a Merry Christmas Strait to You. I hope it cheers you up when you are down and feeling blue. Right or wrong, I'll sing my song and you'll know just who, sings a Merry Christmas Strait to you."
While George is dreaming of "White Christmas.:" Walkin' in a "Winter Wonderland" and bringing "Frosty the Snowman" to life, he doesn't forget the reason for the season. As he sings "For Christ Sake": "Let there be not one stranger to away in a manger, Let there be not one soul left untold. Let there be not one face unknown to the face of the one who will gather the poor for Christ sake it's Christmas, so for Christ sake let everyone know!"
My favorite song on this CD is a "When it's Christmas Time in Texas." The chorus sums up the sound. It's a "Christmas song with a touch of western swing!" It's a Christmas song done George Strait style! That's what I say! "When Santa crosses over the border, he'll sound a little different when he sings. He'll hear those twin fiddle playin' Christmas songs with a touch of a western swing. There may not be snow in San Antonio but it's a Texas Christmas to me!"

A must have CD for any George Strait fan or a country fan who's looking forward to a traditional country Christmas!
