Perfect for College

Pros: Lots of extras for the price, runs great, good power for the size of car.

Cons: MPG could be better, Rear tends to sag, styling not the best.

The Bottom Line: Great car for college students or family's in price, features, and reliability. Very Practical car, but it has the characteristics of much more then that.

I'm in my third year of college and last year my 1990 dodge spirit died. I needed a car that was cheap, reliable and could fit all my stuff to make it up to school. I never dreamed to get a car with A Mach stereo system, power every thing, 200 horse power V-6(24V), and only 50,000K for around $9,000. It was more then I had to spend (thanks mom and dad), but it was worth it. I drive my 1999 sable 300 miles every weekend to see my long distance fiance. It runs great! The ride is pretty smooth and it has good power for the size of the car.
I noticed that others wrote about the poor mpg, and I don't think that it gets horrible mpg for its size I just think the tank is to small for this size car. Its not great, but I think that has something to do with it. The only other negative is that even with one person in the back seat the rear of the car seems to sag easily.
The body style is not what most would call cool, but when it comes to going out everyone sure likes that they can fit in it. Bottom line Great car all the way around from a respectable maker, at a reasonable price.
