Woo hooo!

by   cdp9m ,  Feb 3, 2004
Pros: Superb handling, power, and very effective brakes.
Cons: Back seat room, trunk and parking lot survivability
The Bottom Line: I'd buy another, and will when I give this one up. MB quality, Porsche handling, and rocket power.
Review: Picked up the 2003 CLK 500 while shopping for a 2004 CLK 320. My advice to anyone looking at the 2 door coupe class automobile, DO NOT drive the CLK 500 unless you intend to buy it. It's like a puppy, if you take it home, it's yours. Superbly ...

by   toughcritique ,  Dec 21, 2002
Pros: Excellent Engineering! no Bi-pillar, Looks Amazing, Sunshade, MORE!
Cons: Long waiting list, minor other
The Bottom Line: The bottom line - this car is awesome. I have no more words for it. I will answer questions, if anyone has them
Review: THIS REVIEW IS ON THE 2003 CLK

I've waited for this car all my life: Make enough money to buy an awesome car. I finally did it, reached that goal and was faced with a decision. What to get. (my price range was 40 - 70 thousand). After long...

CLK500 - 8 Cylinders of Pure Joy

by   vodkkaa ,  Dec 5, 2002
Pros: Engine, Control Placement, Xenon Headlamps, Transparent B-Pillar, Safety, Turns on-a-dime
Cons: Bad Snow Traction, Cramped backseat
The Bottom Line: The Best reliable sport coupe ever, thats not outrageously priced. Fun, Sporty, Stylish, a real head-turner. I wouldn't reccomend this be your only vehicle,in harsh winter areas.
Review: This is absolutely the best 2-door coupe I have ever owned. The 2003 CLK500 has outstanding saftey features from assisted braking systems, airbags all-around, and traction & stability control for the responsible adult. Plus, for the Devil in all of us,...

Looks like a Mercedes, feels like a Honda

by   wantnicecar ,  Jan 24, 2004
Pros: It's a Mercedes. Quality and workmanship. Nicer styling than E-class. Power is surprisingly good.
Cons: Lacks Mercedes feel. Bizarre control placement. Confining rear seats. Too expensive for class.
The Bottom Line: A Mercedes-Benz should be a cut above everything else. Choose a Mercedes that feels like a Mercedes or spend the money on a Lexus or Infiniti.
Review: Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but first impressions do count for something. I am currently looking for a replacement for my BMW 740, preferably a car that will provide a similar driving experience while addressing some of its shortcomings. ...

My first toy, 2004 CLK320

by   willpower01 ,  Sep 26, 2003
Pros: All side windows roll down
Vehicle styling
Rear Seating Space
Cons: One cup holder in front
Indash CDplayer not standard
Noise on concrete overpasses
The Bottom Line: If you want a luxury two door with a spacious interior, decent performance and the ability to roll down all side windows this is a worthy car.
Review: Introduction I actually purchased a 2004 model CLK320 coupe, but it's essentially the same as a 2003 model. I evaluated the BMW 330Ci as well, but as there's so many already in my area I wanted something different for the $40-50k I was going t ...
