Great, quick draw pump ... worth the price, but don't drop it too much!!
Pros:
fast pumping, compact, quick and easy to use, multi-speed
Cons:
Can't handle being dropped several times.
The Bottom Line:
Expensive, but well worth the price, because other pumps can't do the job.

I got the Medela pump after using a much cheaper pump that didn't do anything. I did not want to buy one that was so expensive, but I am a single mom that works full time, so I needed something that worked well. The package included a pump, comfortable breast shield, lanyard, carrying case, 2 bottles and tops, bottle prop and extra pump flap. The pump was perfect for bringing to work and required next to now set up time. I timed myself once, from the time I starting taking the parts out of the bag til when I put the last piece back in (cleaned) and it was 25 minutes and I pumped 9 ounces!!! The pump generates milk flow just like my baby, and I guess it is due to its 2-phase design which stimulates for about 2 minutes, then starts the expression phase. It has different speeds, but I never needed anything past speed 3. The pump breaks down into three parts and cleans easily. I used the pumped everyday for 3 months straight. It doesn't work as well as it used to anymore. At first I thought it could no longer handle the load, but I dropped it several times, so that might have been the cause.
