Any Quilter's Dream

In my opinion McCall's Quilting is one of the best quilting magazines on the market today. It contains something for everyone from the most basic beginner to the advanced quilter. Their projects are beautiful, the instructions are clear and well written and double checked for accuracy. Each project is rated for it's difficulty and there is always something for the beginning quilter. Also, in each issue you will find basic quilt making instructions - great for the beginning quilter or to refresh the more advanced quilters on specific techniques. The patterns are full size and easily duplicated for each project. The advertising is minimal and very topical too, which is great for people who like to keep up on what is new in the quilting world. I have been subscribing to this magazine since it first came onto the market, renew it every year and also make gifts of it to my quilting friends. The projects have just kept getting better and better over the years. Other magazines that you might want to read too are Quick Quilts (which is also a McCall's quilting magazine) and American Patchwork and Quilting (a Better Homes and Gardens magazine). The thing that I like about this magazine over the Quilter's Newsletter Magazine is that the pattern for the quilt that appears on the cover of McCall's Quilting is always in the magazine whereas with QNM it isn't.
