just bought '03 MPV

Date of Review:  Mar 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: Excellent late model, used, van for the price, especially if you can get it certified. A pre-owned Odyssey cannot beat it's price!
Review: Count me in as one of those anti-minivan types, who by too many children, must give in. I myself am expecting baby #3 soon...so my cute VW Passat had to go.

Just a rundown of my buying experience, and why we chose what we did.

Zoom, Zoo

Date of Review:  Jul 15, 2003
The Bottom Line: Be weary of the design flaw, that squirrels can easily get into the engine of the car.
Review: After test driving many many mini vans, we decided to by this for our new family of four. After however, only two months a squirrel decided to make it's home in it and decided to destroy the main harness and all the other harnesses that made the car...

My MPV ES

Date of Review:  Sep 26, 2003
The Bottom Line: Great family vehicle for a small family. Compact size, good value, very reliable, lots of room and storage, lots of nice amenities.
Review: I just bought an MPV ES and I love it. When I first began my research into my next vehicle (my current lease on my 626 ES was running out) I was only looking at SUV's. Probably the Mazda Tribute, my husband also drives a Mazda (Millenia). After...

Can You Say, "Zoom, Zoom for Value?"

Date of Review:  Jun 16, 2003
The Bottom Line: An easy handling minivan that is loaded with many features for the price.
Review: This is a review on a 2003 Mazda MPV ES model. It was a replacement for our 1999 Ford Windstar SEL minivan which had seen better days. I will try to compare the various minivans that my spouse and I tested in order to come to the conclusion why we...

A good family vehicle

Date of Review:  Sep 24, 2004
Review: The van runs and drives excellent. Has good pickup and handles well. A couple improvements I'd make would be to put some type of barrier between the drivers cockpit and the rest of the car. If you have kids who leave drink bottles and cans in the...

Nice handling

Date of Review:  May 28, 2008
Review: This is not the van for those that want a ride like a caddy. It's got a sport like suspension and does handle quite well for a mini van. Trouble free until the warranty ran out (time), then two trips to the shop for EGR and IAC. Both under 40K...

My search for zoom zoom in a minivan continues

Date of Review:  Nov 2, 2002
The Bottom Line: For most people the Honda Odyssey will be worth the extra money. For those wanting a shorter van, the Pontiac could be a better choice.
Review: If you've read some of my other reviews, you might know I'm going to be facing a transportation crisis in about six months. #3 child is due any day now. A booster seat, toddler seat, and infant carrier can only fit in the back seat of my current...

The Right Size Minivan for the Average Family

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you only use the third row use once in a while, this is the ideal minivan for you regarding the price, reliability and performance.
Review: My experience with this van has been positive. I love the Japanese quality and design.
Everything is so thoughtfully designed and user oriented. The second row of chairs can slide sideways to form a bench or two separate chairs. The third row...
