Author's Review
I just bought an MPV ES and I love it. When I first began my research into my next vehicle (my current lease on my 626 ES was running out) I was only looking at SUV's. Probably the Mazda Tribute, my husband also drives a Mazda (Millenia). After driving my 626 for 5 years and my husbands, we have become a Mazda family - converted from Honda. Mazda makes great cars and they are much more affordable fully loaded then other makes like Honda, Nissan and Toyota. Also, we have not had any problems with our Mazdas at all! But I did do my research, because we have a one year old and would like to have another soon.
So I knew I wanted something that would haul more stuff than my 626 and would be a good family vehicle in the years to come. So I test drove the Saturn Vue, Isuzu Axiom, Mitsubishi Endeavor, Honda Pilot, VW Jetta Wagon, VW Passat Wagon, Kia Sorento, Dodge Caravan, and finally the Mazda MPV.
I loved it right away - and we decided to take advantage of the 0% financing and we also get the s-plan through our employer. I bought the ES with Power Doors and 4-seasons and paid just under invoice ($25,900)! Try to do that with Honda, Nissan or Toyota!
I love the size too, I love that it fits in my garage, just as well as my 626. It will fit 7 people comfortably, plenty of storage with the 3rd seat up. Lots of storage with the seat down!
And I absolutely love the power doors and the slide by side second row seat. I can get Evan in and out right at the door and then slide him to the middle as recommended for safety! He can also easily see out of the big windows, which he loves!
The MPV also has 5 star safety ratings in front and side impact crash tests!
Zoom, Zoom! I plan on driving this car for 10 or more years!
