I have a 2001 Mazda 626LX with the 2.5L V6. For a midsized vehicle it does just fine. It gets good fuel milage, it has been a very reliable vehicle, has good "pep", and is not too bad on long trips. It does have alot of road noise, and just doesnt seem to have any kind of "flare", I mean, its does what it's supposed to, get you from point A to B, cheaply..but thats about it..The V6 is a nice engine, its quiet runs smooth, it does not have any low end torque but does have good power for the vehicle. The car handles adequately. Really its a good car for the money..
