Author's Review
I'm on my second Miata and I can tell you that of the the 30 cars I've owned, from Toyotas to Cadillacs, this one wins hands down for pure driving pleasure. The '96 I currently own is an M edition so I get mush more comfortable leather seats an adequate sound system with Cassette and CD as well as a remote entry system and alarm...all factory. These are nice perks that help reduce fatigue on longer trips.
Yes it's still a small car. My kids say, "But it only holds 2 people", to which I respond," and that's the point of owning one!" And man does it handle the curves! I swear it's actually faster with the top down, but I can't prove it. I'm on my 3rd year with this car and it's yet to see a mechanic for anything. I sure couldn't say that about my TR6 from the '70's.
Because of its age, I am starting to get some leaks around some of the widow seals, but that's to be expected. You can buy one of these now for around $6-7000 and based on my experience, that's a cheap price to pay for a lot of fun!!!
