My wife loves it!

We purchased the Maytag refrigerator to replace a 20-year Kitchen Aid that had seen better days. My wife picked this model because she liked the layout; French doors on the top and freezer on the bottom. We began looking at Kitchen Aid but wound up going with Maytag due to the simplicity in design (e.g. she did not want too many additional features other than a simple refrigerator).
She loves it because she can easily see everything in the refrigerator compartment just by opening the doors (e.g. no bending over to see what is hiding on the bottom shelves). She also likes the fact that the bottom freezer pulls out and that there is easy access to the contents in the freezer. I wouldn't say that the access is "easy", but it's not too bad.
Since we have only had the refrigerator for six months, long-term reliability is unknown. Based on our limited usage; however, I would recommend to a friend who doesn't want all the bells and whistles in a refrigerator.
