My Maytag Oven is for keeps

It occurred to me one day while looking at my GE electric 4 coil burner stove that I was heating breadsticks in an oven meant to cook a meal for the troops. With only 2 people in the house, my large standard oven was rarely used. I'd always wanted a dual oven and began in earnest with my researching. I chose the Maytag Gemini electric model with 4 heating elements in white. I love my decision to buy the Maytag Gemini. I absolutely love it.

Not only does this unit give you two ovens, it's free standing which means easy installation! The best feature is the ability to cook two meals at two different temperatures. Each oven has its own touch pad control panel making cooking single meals or multiple meals so simple. 80% of our meals are cooked in the smaller upper oven which has cut down on electricity use. Rarely is the lower larger oven used except at holiday times. The upper oven can cook a large pizza, a roast, breads, bake a cookies, etc. I love not having to heat up a huge oven just to bake a sheet of cookies!

The numerous buttons will prove easy to manage. Oven light, timer, toast, broil, bake are all standard and the heating elements are fast to get to the right temperature. There is a helpful red light which remains on if the heating elements are still hot to the touch. Very smart!

I purchased my stove at Sears with free delivery and basic warranty at a fair market price. Do your research against the other manufacturers who also sell dual ovens. Maytag will not disappoint,and was a clear winner against other stoves, some at twice the price!
