Maytag Bravo washer error code problems

The Bottom Line: I think that after the electronic issues are solved that this machine will give many years of service. It does a good job of cleaning very large loads.
I purchased this machine 2 weeks ago and it failed on it's first load. It gave me a "LF" too long to fill code. I read the manual and checked my water pressure and hoses as suggested. They were fine. My wife did a load of clothes the next day and all went well so I figured that the first load was a fluke. I was not aware that she used the permanent press cycle instead of the normal cycle. When I did my next load it failed again. I contacted maytag after I realized that the problem was with the normal setting which is the default setting. A few days later a repairman came and told me that he would have to order a new controller. A week later he came and installed it. The next load stopped with 17 minutes left on the cycle and gave me a "lf" code just as it had since day 1. The other cycles work ok but not the "normal" setting. I am now waiting for the technician to hear from Maytag tech support. This is not what I should expect from a thousand dollar machine made by a well established company such as Maytag. So now I wait for answers and will have to tie up another day waiting for the "lonley" Maytag repairman.
